The choir’s desire is to uncover a female vocal repertoire, less notorious to the public, nonetheless rich and diverse.

The vocal group will either sing a capella pieces, or be accompanied by instrumentalists in the sacred as well as profane repertoire going from 13th to 20th century.

The female vocal group Scherzando was born in 2001 from the gathering of a few choir members and the current conductor

Boris Bouchevreau.

Based in Le Mans (200 km SW of Paris), this female choir group is currently made up of 15 amateur singers.
